Cousin blog…… First steps!
Here is our first Blog Ribelle. Ho voluto chiamarlo “FIRST STEPS” because that's exactly what we will do.
Making eco-friendly choices may seem complicated but it is only if we want to do everything together.
I started one step at a time and now together, we'll see where to start.
FIRST STEP: "THE CHOICE"
Start with the changes we think are easier for us, it will be a great first step. Try to think about the thing that would be easier for you to change. I started with dishwashing detergent. 🙂
Reflecting on it, I realized that it is among the detergents we use the most, so I thought that by eliminating that I would have eliminated many and many plastic containers! I switched to solid soap made entirely from natural products. When I started using it, I wondered why I hadn't done this before. Natural soaps are good for us, to nature and the future! I see no reason to use something harmful when we have a choice. You can start with whatever you like, it depends on each one's habits. It could be the toothbrush, shampoo it, the bubble bath.. in short, just take the first step and you will see that later, in a completely natural way, you will want to do the second.. 🙂 🙂
SECOND STEP: "WE REDUCE WASTE"
A very simple thing to do when we are about to buy something is to ask ourselves if it is really essential. At least once we have all bought items that have remained unused, so better be sure not to repeat the mistake! This thing may seem pointless, instead it is fundamental. If we limit our expenses to what is really essential, we substantially reduce the amount of waste we produce. Scegliere uno stile di vita sostenibile non significa però “rinunciare” ma orientare le nostre scelte verso oggetti durevoli, natural, recyclable, plastic-free! You will find that they are also much more beautiful!
Tired??? One more step.
THIRD STEP: THE FOOD
On this step I had some hesitation but I believe that food is an excellent choice. Why food? To begin, choosing seasonal fruit and vegetables we will eat something that comes from crops near us and therefore did not have to travel too far to reach us, especially if at zero km. This means less pollution and a longer shelf life. In addition to being economically advantageous for those who buy and for our local producers. To know what to buy month by month, just find a seasonal crop calendar like this one:
I look forward to the next step! Butter, in the meantime, do the first… 🙂 🙂 🙂
